Consultant Psychiatry for Adults and Older Adults
Dr Guy Barclay is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist providing private psychiatric assessment and treatment at JACE Private Hospital for General Adult and Older Adult patients.
With over 25 years of medical experience, Dr Barclay has been on the GMC Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry since 2010. He graduated with honours and Distinction from the University of Liverpool Medical School and holds MBChB Honours, BSc Honours First Class, MRCPsych, and Fellowship qualifications from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons.
Throughout his career, Dr Barclay has worked across the NHS and internationally, holding consultant posts in Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Australia, and New Zealand.
He has extensive experience across General Adult Psychiatry, Older Adult Psychiatry, Early Intervention in Psychosis, Learning Disability and Autism Services, Forensic Psychiatry, and Drug and Alcohol Services, and has also held clinical leadership and teaching roles.
